RESTORE

Burnout recovery is not about becoming productive again.

Burnout is not exhaustion alone.

It is a breakdown in cognitive capacity, emotional regulation, and nervous system safety.

For many people, the most destabilising part is not the diagnosis; it is the uncertainty that follows:

  • Why can't I think clearly yet?
  • Why does rest not feel restorative?
  • Why do I feel unlike myself?

Burnout Recovery at Raviver is designed to restore capacity safely, without urgency or performance pressure.

Who this programme is for

This programme is appropriate if you are:

  • currently experiencing burnout
  • recently signed off work or returning gradually
  • struggling with brain fog, decision fatigue, emotional blunting, or anxiety
  • feeling disconnected from your sense of competence or confidence
  • not ready for reintegration or leadership work (yet)

This is recovery, not reinvention.

What recovery focuses on

Burnout recovery is about stabilising what has been overwhelmed, not pushing for growth.

Core areas of focus:

  • understanding what burnout has done neurologically and cognitively
  • restoring nervous system safety
  • reducing internal pressure and fear of "not functioning."
  • rebuilding predictable energy and emotional regulation
  • restoring trust in your thinking and judgement

This work proceeds at the pace your system can integrate.

Programme structure

Duration:

  • 6 months

(Extension considered only where clinically and ethically appropriate)

Format

  • 1 individual session per month (90 - 120 minutes)
  • Low intensity by design
  • Space between sessions for integration

The work does not happen through intensity.

It happens through containment and understanding.

What this programme does not do

This matters. This programme does not:

  • optimise performance
  • redesign leadership identity
  • fix organisational systems
  • push readiness to return to work

Those belong later - if and when appropriate.

Outcomes (Realistic and grounded)

By the end of the programme, most people report:

  • reduced symptom intensity
  • more stable energy
  • clearer thinking
  • improved emotional regulation
  • increased self-trust
  • clarity about what support is needed next.

Some move back to work.

Some need more time.

Some transition into reintegration work.

Recovery is not a race, and it looks different for everyone.

A contained transition point

At the end of the recovery phase, we assess together:

  • readiness to conclude support
  • need for extension
  • or readiness for reintegration work.

No assumptions.

No pressure.

A quiet invitation

If you are in burnout, clarity matters more than motivation.

You are welcome to request an obligation-free conversation to explore whether this programme is appropriate for you.
